Next week, the GemSeal Central Region team will be exhibiting at the Oklahoma Municipal League Conference in Tulsa on September 12-14. This conference brings together a statewide audience of over 400 mayors, councilmembers, city managers, superintendents, and public works directors representing 120 Oklahoma municipalities.

The show enables our team to gain a better understanding of industry requirements pertaining to paving materials.  In addition, we have the  opportunity to see many of our customers and showcase our governmental products and application equipment including GemSeal Black Diamond™ pavement sealer, Right Pointe and GemSeal crack sealants and mastics, Ennis® and GemSeal paints, Cimline melters, Graco® paint stripers, Multiquip® compaction equipment, and safety apparel, as well as our equipment rental program.

For the educational portion of the show, there will be sessions on conflict resolution, active shooter response, municipal operations, community policing, and much more. Plus, attendees will be motivated and inspired by listening to three keynote speakers—Jim Stovall, a world-renowned author and speaker; Matt Stafford, Consultant at Future Point of View; and David Ross, Founder of TriCorps Security.

Other events include a pre-conference workshop covering practical leadership strategies, a golf tournament at Canyon Park at Blackjack Ridge, and an awards recognition breakfast and banquet honoring individuals, municipalities, and OMCTFOA members for significant contributions or innovations affecting their communities.
